Rhonda Barry

rhonda02Rhonda Barry

Born and raised in Regina, Rhonda has always been intrigued by the workings of the mind and is an avid student of brain research. Her studies validated her belief that there are faster and more effective ways to learn, and to make personal change. This led her to the study of Suggestopedia and Accelerated Learning ~ teaching methods which are based on the understanding of how the human brain works and how we learn most effectively; Neuro Linguistic Programming ~ the science of how our communication, both verbal and non-verbal, drives our behaviour and affects our nervous system; Time Line Therapy ~ a process that assists us to let go of negative emotions and limiting decisions from the past, and create our future the way we want it; hypnosis and hypnotherapy as well as other quick-change energy and healing modalities.

Using a blending of these techniques, she has been coaching, designing and facilitating transformational learning sessions for corporations both nationally and internationally since 1991.

She is a certified as a facilitator of Myers Briggs Type Indicator, a Smoking Cessation Specialist and as a practitioner of NLP and Time Line Therapy. She is a also a member of the International Hypnosis Federation and Guild of Hypnotherapists, and here at the clinic offers a powerful one-hour Stop Smoking program using Hypnosis.

Rhonda donates her time to many causes and groups: she has delivered her motivational program “Secrets of Success” to the Bridging Program for Women and SIAST Extension Division since 1992; she sits on the Alumni Committee of Leadership Regina; has volunteered with Telemiracle for the past 20 years; and volunteers regularly at Peak Potentials transformational courses and at the Positive Deviant Network both in Canada and the US.

She has been published in Grandparents Rock ~ The Grandparenting Guide for the Rock and Roll Generation, and is the author of the soon to be released Pretends Birthdays and Other Memorable Moments ~ an inspirational book about how, at the end of our lives, we won’t remember everything, but we will remember the special ‘moments’ that others created for us, and that we have created for others. It’s been highlighted as the next Chicken Soup for the Soul ~ with a twist ~ and has been endorsed by Mark Victor Hansen himself.

Rhonda is the mother of three great children, and the proud grandmother of three terrific grandchildren.

Stay tuned ~ Rhonda will be expanding her repertoire of services here at the clinic in the near future to include hypnotherapy sessions for weight loss, pain management and stress management.
