What is “Registered Nutritional Consultant Practitioner?”
"A Registered Nutritional Consultant Practitioner (RNCP) is professionally trained in holistic nutrition and complimentary therapies, and have met strict educational and ethical standards. They are members of the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants. (IONC)
Every person is biochemically unique and RNCP's can assess individual nutritional imbalances and weaknesses and recommend specific diets and nutritional supplements to enhance the immune system, and build health. Ultimately, the cells in our bodies are built from the raw materials that we eat. Superior nutrition builds better cell structures. RNCP's are trained to introduce the latest nutritional breakthroughs and design personalized programs.
We are now aware that the Canada Food Guide does not meet nutritional requirements for superior health for everyone. For example, until food sensitivities are corrected some people must avoid certain foods, such as breads and pasta if gluten intolerant, and dairy if lactose or casein intolerant.
Environmental pollution, metal toxicity, nutritional imbalances, and allergies are other considerations when constructing a personalized program.
Only RNCP's who have met requirements of IONC may use the designation. Many extended health care plans are now covering RNCP service fees for IONC members."
